Are you dedicated to supporting young people in achieving their dreams? Consider joining our VSAC team as the Pre-Education and Training Services (Pre-ETS) Outreach Counselor! You’ll join a team of highly committed, collaborative, and supportive colleagues who are dedicated to student success.
The VSAC Southern Pre-ETS Outreach Counselor will work with the following contracted school sites in the 2024-2025 school year: Springfield, Hartford, Thetford, Rutland, Mt. Anthony, and Brattleboro high schools. We are looking for a Pre-ETS Outreach Counselor that lives in South-Central or Southern Vermont with a commute that would be less than 2 hours to any of the school sites listed. The Pre-ETS Outreach Counselor will deliver up to 7 workshops at each of the contracted school sites through the end of the school year.
The successful VSAC Pre-ETS Outreach Counselor candidate will:
• Be a highly motivated individual who is excited to work with youth with disabilities to support them in planning for their futures.
• Be an experienced educator with a focus on accommodating learning activities to meet student needs and interests.
• Understand and excel at adapting learning activities and developing a sequence of learning activities where skills build upon each other.
• Enjoy building relationships with students, school partners, and stakeholders.
• Be an effective communicator, who is open to feedback, collaboration, and flexibility.
Salary range for this position is $43,000-$47,000. Note that the position has 9 weeks off in summer.

Director – VT Pathways to Partnership
The State Of Vermont is looking for a Project Director to oversee the Vermont Pathways To Partnership Grant from the US Department of Education that will shape the systems and strategies that will help students with disabilities become self-advocates and primary decision makers to their futures in secondary education and employment!
This position will have responsibility for all aspects of this $10-million grant, including supervision of five staff members. The team will work closely with other agencies, such as Agency Of Education, Vermont Center Of Independent Living, and local education agencies to ensure the success of post-secondary success for youth with disabilities and their families across Vermont.
This exciting opportunity will help develop relationships with various communities and agencies and build and develop specialized projects and programs like regional and community events, education, and outreach.
Candidates should have:
- Knowledge of a broad variety of disabilities and their impacts on education and employment
- Knowledge of vocational rehab services and resources available to youth and adults with disabilities
- Familiarity with state and federal laws regarding vocational rehabilitation labor practices and special education transition services
The VT-P2P Grant Project Director will work out of local offices of the Division For The Blind and Visually Impaired, with remote work from home hours available. This position will also require travel around the state to various agencies and partners, for which a private means of transportation must be available.

VT Pathways To Partnership Administrative Services Manager I (VT Department of Aging and Independent Living)
The State Of Vermont is looking for an Administrative Manager for the Vermont Pathways To Partnership Grant from the US Department of Education.
This position will help oversee a $10 million grant, and be responsible in assisting the Project Director with things such as:
- Budget development and preparation
- Contract and grant administration
- Procurement of goods & services
- Federal reporting
- Other duties as defined by the Project Director
You will also assist the team with coordinating meetings and agendas, trainings and training platforms, collection and compilation of data from multiple partners from a wide range of agencies both inside and outside the State Of Vermont, all to help achieve the grants goal of helping young people with disabilities create enhanced pathways to successful employment and post-secondary outcomes in Vermont!

Kid’s RehabGYM is a non-profit organization located in Williston, VT. We are passionate about supporting children with special needs and their families. Our highly skilled pediatric physical and occupational therapists provide evidence informed services for children throughout the Vermont North Country and beyond. Out Physical Therapists treat children with congenital, developmental, neurological disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, and children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder. In addition, our PT team also provides orthopedic intervention, postural asymmetry, toe walking, pes planus, joint pain or abnormalities, torticollis, and fractures.
We are currently seeking a full-time physical therapist. KRG is looking for a PT who is passionate about providing comprehensive, compassionate, client/family-focused, and evidenced-informed intervention and treatment planning to a diverse pediatric population. This individual should be self-driven, work well within a team, and possess a high ability for problem-solving, flexibility, and self-directed learning. Additionally, the individual must possess the ability to independently perform evaluations and assessments; create and carry out appropriate treatment plans, parent/caregiver education and training with home exercise programs; communicate with pediatricians and referring physicians and be able to complete documentation and discharge planning in a timely manner.
As a small and experienced team of PTs and OTs, we would welcome a new PT graduate who has a strong passion for treating a pediatric population and who is willing to learn from a variety of clinicians. We feel confident that KRG can provide a nurturing and fast paced environment to allow a new clinician to grow into an accomplished professional.
