Join the CDCI Community Advisory Council
Every year, we look for new members to join our Community Advisory Council
If you would like to apply online, you can fill out our online CAC membership application. If you would like to know more about becoming a member or would like help applying, please contact CDCI.
Vermonters with disabilities and their family members can be part of our Community Advisory Council. You must be 18 or older. Taking part in the Community Advisory Council means:
- Meeting with the rest of the CAC four times per year. You can join this meeting either virtually from anywhere in Vermont, or come and be in person on the UVM campus in Burlington.
- You also have the opportunity to take part in academic, research, or communications work with CDCI. We welcome new ideas!
- You will have the opportunity to take part in national conferences, where you can meet other people with disabilities from around the United States.
- You will be paid $20.00 per hour for taking part in the CAC. You must be eligible to work in the United States.
We strongly encourage applications from persons of color, individuals with disabilities and family members, and those committed to cultural and linguistic competency.
