Rainamei Luna

Rainamei Luna is an Educational Developer at the Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) at the University of Vermont (UVM). She holds a Ph.D. in Music Education from Pennsylvania State University, an M.A. from Columbia University, and a B.M. from the University of Rochester – Eastman School of Music. Her doctoral dissertation explored the lived experiences and perceptions of young autistic individuals within the arts and higher education.

Rainamei has presented her work at several conferences, including the International Society of Music Education, Society for Music Teacher Education, Disability Studies and Music Education Symposium, and the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, focusing on educational equity and the intersection of arts and accessibility.

At UVM, Rainamei co-leads the Neurodiversity in Education series with Dr. Allison Anacker. She also facilitates the Teaching Equitably Online course, working with faculty and staff to build accessible and inclusive online learning environments.
