2021 BEST/VTmtss Summer Institute
Here Comes the Sun: Celebrating and Strengthening Resilience for All!
The 2021 BEST/VTmtss Summer Institute provided opportunities for school teams of educators, family members, and community stakeholders to share and learn strategies for improving and strengthening the systems, data, and practices within Vermont’s expanded framework for enacting a multi-tiered system of supports (VTmtss). They learned about new programs, curricula, practices, and activities that emphasize positive, research-based strategies to support all students. Individual or team-attended strands and workshops were intentionally designed to complement afternoon school team planning sessions for building effective action plans.
Registration is now closed.
The per person fee included Institute presentations, program materials, and special activities. Family members were encouraged to be invited as team members at no cost (one free family member per team). Teams were also welcomed to include 1-2 student team members at no cost.
