About Recruitment & Retention

To get great people to work at CIS, we focus on recruiting and retaining highly qualified people. Recruitment means attracting qualified people to work in CIS.

We do this by:

  • raising public awareness about CIS career opportunities
  • connecting with interested students and community members
  • talking about CIS at job fairs
  • talking about CIS to high school and college classes, and
  • reaching out to community organizations.

Please reach out to Julia Wayne if you would like a presentation.

Retention includes listening to, and planning for the needs of people working at CIS. We share a survey with CIS staff every year. Their feedback is important in improving how we support them.

We support them by:

  • giving them great learning opportunities
  • giving them access to resources to make the job easier. These can include wellness, job satisfaction, and loan reimbursement.
