Vermont AAC Summit 2026

October 28 @ 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

Event Description:

This one-day conference focuses on sharing current information related to selecting, trialing, and procuring Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. The content supports Speech-Language Pathologists to make informed decisions using the feature matching process and offers guidance in report-writing for successful device funding.

Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about the important features of different communication devices from representatives of leading AAC device manufacturers. There will be dedicated time for participants to engage in hands-on exploration of current AAC technologies and speak to the device representatives directly.

Our presenters from the I-Team are Amy Starble and Ashley Couture.

Our device representatives are from Tobii-Dynavox, PRC-Saltillo, and NuMotion.

This conference is a collaborative effort of the Vermont I-Team and Vermont Speech-Language Hearing Association.
