Active Learning

Hi everyone.  As we collectively move through the winter months I know the cold and ice can sometimes make it feel more challenging to keep kids moving throughout the day.  I wanted to share the Active Learning: A Toolkit for Teachers resource co-created by Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center, New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, and Vermont Department of Health.  This kit can be a useful communication tool with child professionals (and families) because it reviews the educational benefits of keeping kids physically active.  There are a lot of great examples of activities that can be used with children across the elementary, middle, and high school grades.  Related service providers can play a pivotal role in helping teachers choose and implement new ideas for their classrooms!
