It’s a new year and I am looking for new approaches to a familiar topic- providing high quality hand-under-hand (HUH) support when working with pediatric clients. I often see hand-over-hand (HOH) being used and find that team members are very interested in more pointers to improve their technique. Unfortunately, a lot of the resources out there (such as great ones from Teepa Snow) are more focused on supporting older adults with dementia. There are also great resources focused on dual sensory impairment or supporting students with deafblindness. I find HUH to have widespread application with a variety of children, and I am wondering if folks have favorite resources or tools to help teach and support various team members?
