CDCI is the only UCEDD in Vermont and one of 67 UCEDDs throughout the nation. UCEDDs are authorized under the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000. UCEDDs are a resource to serve Americans with a wide range of abilities in the areas of education, research, and service related to the needs of people with developmental disabilities. To learn more about our national network, please see the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aucd.org\/\">Association of University Centers on Disabilities<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vermont\u2019s Developmental Disabilities (DD) Network<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The DD Network is authorized under the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000. Every state in the United States has a DD network made of up of a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, a Developmental Disabilities Council, and a Protection and Advocacy Agency.
