{"id":319,"date":"2024-08-06T20:25:11","date_gmt":"2024-08-06T20:25:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cdci.w3.uvm.edu\/blog\/?page_id=319"},"modified":"2024-09-11T20:10:58","modified_gmt":"2024-09-12T00:10:58","slug":"fy22-academics-report","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cdci.w3.uvm.edu\/blog\/about\/cdci-annual-reports\/fy22-annual-report\/fy22-academics-report\/","title":{"rendered":"FY22 Annual Report: ACADEMICS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expanding Disability Studies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>FY 2022 saw CDCI expanding our Disability Studies graduate certificate program by offering a new course designed by a self-advocate, collaborating with self-advocates on course design, and building more flexibility into courses, in order to reach a wider audience.&nbsp;In Summer 2022, we launched the Global Disability Studies course, and continue to partner with self- advocates in developing courses on Controversies in Disability Studies, and Disability and Self-Advocacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"NEW: Global Disability Special Education course at UVM\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pc6KA_HuQ9Q?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Celebrating Think College VT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>FY 2022 saw 14 participants enroll in our Think College program at the University of Vermont. They partnered with 39 peer mentors.
