From there, the year saw CDCI drastically expand its communications program. In addition to the 105 products we created this year, we:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Launched a series of short videos, showcasing CDCI service projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Built a prototype database for projects to better curate online resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expanded our social media presence, including renewed focus on video stories.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Revived the CDCI monthly newsletter, which then doubled in subscribers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completely redesigned our website, with input from the Community Advisory Council. Portions of the new site design were adopted by the UVM Web Team for inclusion in UVM website templates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CDCI Connects<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, we launched a new video podcast featuring conversations about disability by and with Vermonters with disabilities: \u201cCDCI Connects\u201d. 68% of the guests in the eight-episode first season were Vermonters with disabilities or their family members. Additionally, the racial and ethnic diversity of the guests was equal to that of Vermont as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SUBSCRIBE TO OUR VIDEO PODCAST<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a class=\"imglink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLMrcNNUeYhjx4KcKaf4mBFwEz2lSCkLSI\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/legacy.drup2.uvm.edu\/sites\/default\/files\/Center-on-Disability-and-Community-Inclusion\/Annual-Report\/AR-images\/cdci-connect-small.jpeg\" alt=\"Text: CDCI Connects\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CDCI Connects is a series of conversations between self-advocates, educators, medical professionals and family members of people with disabilities.
