Introduction to the Video Version
Transcript here.
Hi, this is Zeph. I'd like to welcome you to CPAR, Community Partnerships in Autism Research, participatory research training presented by the University of Vermont and the UVM Autism Collaborative.
We designed this training for autistic and non-autistic people. This includes researchers and community members.
You will learn about Community Partnerships in Autism Research, or CPAR. In CPAR, autistic people are a part of the team doing the research. This is called participatory research.
In this type of research, many perspectives are used to understand important problems and to make change.
We hope this training encourages you to get started and do participatory autism research.
