VIDEO: The Poo In You

Did you know that constipation is one of the most common childhood health conditions? By some estimates, as many as one in every three children in the United States is chronically constipated at any time. Many of these children are undiagnosed: parents don’t always know what’s “normal”, and pediatricians might not ask if they don’t suspect their patient has trouble. Research shows that constipation — even when it is mild — has a big effect on someone’s ability to learn new continence skills (including urine continence!).

This video from Colorado Children’s Hospital explains in plain language some of the causes, signs, and treatments for chronic constipation.
