Trainings & Workshops
Vermont Continence Project Training & Workshops
We offer custom trainings & workshops. Some of our trainings are available as recorded videos.
Some trainings we have offered recently:
- Occupational Therapy’s Role in Continence and Toilet-Learning
- Elimination Skills and Patterns in Trisomy 21 (mini-lecture)
- Teaching Toileting for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder: Setting the Stage for Success
- Holistic Management of Pediatric Functional Constipation & Incontinence
Please subscribe to the CDCI newsletter if you’d like to be notified as we schedule new public events.
Customized workshops and trainings
We will work with your medical office or organization to create custom trainings or workshops to address common continence concerns.
If you are interested in a training or workshop for your team or organization, please complete our contact form.
Trainings & Workshops for Parents
At this time, we do not teach one-off trainings for parents. We find that the topic of toilet-learning challenges cannot be addressed in one session. If your organization would like to host a workshop for parents, we would suggest you host a viewing of our Video Learning Series. Our team can work with you to then host a series of Q&A sessions based on the video material. If you are interested in hosting a “continence watch party,” contact us to organize any follow-up events.
Past Workshops
Teaching toileting to your child can be stressful and uncertain. If you are preparing to introduce your child to the potty, or have hit bumps in the road, this workshop may help.
60-minute lecture, with 30-minute Q&A.
