We will work with your medical office or organization to create custom trainings or workshops to address common continence concerns. If you are interested in a training or workshop for your team or organization, please complete our contact form.
At this time, we do not teach one-off trainings for parents. We find that the topic of toilet-learning challenges cannot be addressed in one session. If your organization would like to host a workshop for parents, we would suggest you host a viewing of our series Continent & Confident: The Parents’ Guide to Toilet Training Challenges. Our team can work with you to then host a series of Q&A sessions based on the video material. If you are interested in hosting a “continence watch party,” contact us to organize any follow-up events.

Continence is a key skill for success in life, and it needs to be taught in classrooms just like any other fundamental. But what does that look like? Occupational therapists Chayah Lichtig and Adrienne Miao of the Vermont Continence Project, take you through targets, objectives, strategies and resources for continence in the classroom — for all ages.

The Vermont Continence Project believes the mastery of toileting skills promotes inclusion at home, school, and in the community. They believe that current and accessible resources, information, and support should be available to each individual, parent/caregiver, and team who have identified toilet-learning as a priority goal and life skill. Using a framework of self-determination for each person, the Vermont Continence Project provides consultation, training, and resources to help remove the barriers to full inclusion created by chronic incontinence.
