Wheelchair Outcome Measure

The Wheelchair Outcome Measure (WhOM) is a semi-structured interview focused on participation outcomes as identified by the participants. There is also a young people’s version (WhOM-YP), for 18 years old and younger. Both versions include questions about home and community participation as well as sitting posture and comfort. It was developed to measure change as a result of an intervention, and can be used to track progress over time.

The WhOM and WhOM-YP are available on the SCIRE Professional website.
